For this reason, pay particular attention to the "Keywords" section in the formhaving the right keywords will make your press release much easier to find. What can you do to increase your readership?Make your press release interesting. If your press release does not capture the attention of the reader immediately, there is a good chance it will remain unread. In order to get attention, pay particular attention to the headline and summary. It is also very helpful to write your release in standard journalistic styleremember, one of the points of a good press release is to get picked up and reprinted by news services. Make sure your press release is well edited. It should say what it needs to say, and no more. Most readers, and especially most readers on the Internet, are far more likely to read short articles than long ones. Make your press release relevant. We can accept any stories which relate to the industry served by any particular Open Companies website (e.g., housing or retirement for The Retirement Net). We cannot accept press releases which fall outside of the scope of industry interests.
